Accurate water metering is a regulatory requirement, a revenue protection measure, and an essential tool for non-revenue water management across UAE's water distribution infrastructure. Genfocus Automation L.L.C. designs and fabricates Sub-Metering Panels, Bulk Metering Units, and District Metering Area panels that comply fully with TAQA Group companies, DEWA, and Etihad Water and Electricity technical specifications - integrating OIML-approved electromagnetic flow meters, sealed tamper-evident data loggers, pressure transmitters, and RTUs with GSM/GPRS telemetry into a complete, ready-to-install metering system.
Every panel we fabricate is designed by our engineers to the specific project requirements and relevant authority standards, built with components from globally approved brands, and subjected to a comprehensive Factory Acceptance Testing programme before leaving our facility. We design to IEC 61439 - the mandatory international standard for low-voltage switchgear and controlgear assemblies - and supply complete documentation packages with every panel, including general arrangement drawings, schematic wiring diagrams, component data sheets, FAT test reports, and operation and maintenance manuals. Enclosures are specified with appropriate IP ratings for UAE indoor and outdoor environments, including IP65 and IP66 rated GRP and stainless steel enclosures for harsh outdoor desert conditions.
Our panel capability extends to ATEX and IECEx certified designs for hazardous area installations in UAE oil and gas facilities and petrochemical plants - using flameproof, increased safety, and pressurised enclosure protection concepts appropriate to the area classification. We supply panels with components from Schneider Electric, Siemens, ABB, Eaton, and other brands on UAE authority approved vendor lists, and our fabrication quality is maintained through our ISO 9001:2015 quality management system with documented inspection hold points throughout the build process.
