Variable Frequency Drives deliver some of the most significant energy savings available in industrial and utility applications - and in the UAE, where electricity costs are substantial and energy efficiency targets are increasingly embedded in regulatory requirements, VFD technology has become a standard specification for pump and fan motor control. Genfocus Automation L.L.C. designs and fabricates custom VFD control panels for pumping stations, HVAC systems, industrial processes, and sewage treatment facilities across the UAE - integrating drives from ABB, Siemens, Danfoss, Schneider Electric, and other approved brands with motor protection relays, bypass switching, harmonic filters, and SCADA communication interfaces.
Our VFD panels are designed with the UAE operating environment in mind - using IP55 or IP65 rated enclosures, forced ventilation with filtered air inlets, and appropriate cable sizing for the high ambient temperatures common in UAE electrical rooms and outdoor installations. Harmonic mitigation is included as standard in our VFD panel designs, with input line reactors provided as a minimum and active harmonic filters specified for installations where power quality compliance to IEC 61000 and IEEE 519 is required. Each panel is supplied with a bypass contactor or bypass switch allowing the motor to run at full speed on direct online supply in the event of a VFD fault - ensuring process continuity in critical pumping and HVAC applications.
